Free Markets Simply Do Not Exist

There is no such thing as a “Free Market” for there are only two types of Markets: Captive and Regulated.

A “Captive Market” is controlled and manipulated by the Financial Sector – Manufacturers and Small Business owners. In order to keep wages low and prices high in their constant quest to generate profits, which are then funneled into the bank accounts of high level employee’s, at the expense of lower level employee’s who actually do the work and their customers who buy their products and / or services.

A “Regulated Market” is a marketplace regulated by government agencies to not only ensure the safety of the average worker; but, to prevent employers from taking advantage of their employees by cheating them out of the necessities of life through substandard wages while requiring them to work like slaves.

  1. Thanks for this blog post regarding free markets; I really enjoyed it and am definitely recommending this blog to my friends and family. I’m a 15 year old with a blog on finance and economics at shreysfinanceblog.com, and would really appreciate it if you could read and comment on some of my articles, and perhaps follow, reblog and share some of my posts on social media. Thanks again for this fantastic post.
