It is a serious and perhaps fatal mistake for those Seventh-day Adventist’s who remain loyal to and actively defend the “Fundamental Pillars” of the Faith to accept being labeled as and to refer to themselves as conservatives.
Moses commanded the children of Israel in Deut. 5:32:
“Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left”. *
Those who walk on the right hand – Conservatives – exhibit the spirit of the Pharisees and seek to add to God’s word burdens that are grievous to be borne and unnecessary in regards to salvation.
On the other hand those who walk on the left hand – Liberals – exhibit the spirt of the Sadducees and seek to take away from God’s word that which the Lord has commanded his children.
Conservatives seek to enter the Kingdom of God through the merit of their own works while Liberals seek to enter the Kingdom of God by Faith Only without the corresponding works that demonstrate True Faith.
Those Seventh-day Adventist’s who are true loyal followers of Christ who both love and defend the truth as revealed to the church of the last days are Seventh-Day Adventist Fundamentalists: Who seek to obey all that God has commanded as revealed within his Word the Holy Bible and refuse to tolerate error in themselves or the church and meet it head on in the spirit of Christ; even as they sigh and moan upon their knees for the abominations being done throughout the land and within the church.
Hence Christ’s true followers should refer to themselves as Seventh-day Adventist Fundamentalists who stand upon the Fundamental Pillars of the Faith for that is who and what they truly are!
