True Love

True Love is giving without taking or demanding anything in return as love is only true when it is given freely and willingly…

True Love is being willing to continue investing in a friendship even when the response doesn’t appear to be equal to the investment…

True  Love invests in a relationship as a long term investment without always insisting upon an immediate response…

No  matter how much one says: “I Love You.”  If their actions don’t measure up to their words and they  continuously demand a response that can not be  willingly and freely given. Then they do not truly love nor  are they a true  friend…

One can only love truly if they are willing to accept whatever their friends can give them without demanding more or becoming disapointed…

There are those who are masters at showing and making one feel loved without ever saying “I Love You.” While there are those who say “I Love You” all the time yet by their actions give the lie to their words…

When it comes to True Love actions speak louder then words…

As both John and James wrote:

1 John 3: 17 & 18 –

“But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.”

James 2:15 – 18 –

“If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.”
